For individuals struggling with mental health and addiction disorders, the justice system can often feel like a dead end. But what if there was a way to turn a court appearance into a turning point? That's where peer recovery coaches come in.
We are a team of individuals who have walked the path of recovery ourselves. We understand the challenges, the fears, and the hope that comes with seeking help. We are here to assist those facing court proceedings who are ready to take control of their lives and embark on the journey to recovery.
We visit individuals in jail, CJC, and MCCC to conduct assessments and help them understand their options for treatment. We work with them to develop a plan that addresses their specific needs and goals.
We advocate for individuals in court, helping them navigate the legal system and secure access to treatment. We work closely with probation officers, treatment centers around the state, and sober living housing to ensure that individuals receive the support they need.
Once approved for treatment, we are there to provide support and guidance during the transition process. We meet individuals at the facility they are being released from and accompany them to their transport provided by the treatment center.
We believe that recovery is an ongoing process. We offer peer recovery coaching to help individuals maintain their sobriety and build a strong support network. We also assist with finding sober living arrangements if needed.
